According to the LA TIMES, luxury home sales (1M +)price, jumped 21% in CA from 2009.
Out in the field I am reminded on a daily basis that people are shopping not just looking inactively. They are ready to purchase, all cash deals are apparently up (I have my share :)) and properties are plunging into…ESCROW fast when well priced and dressed up for market. You have to be fast now. As a buyer you need a stealth Realtor ready to jump even before a property hits the open market. Off market listings were never as valuable as they are now. Rates are sweet, but inventory still is lack lustre. The offerings on the list yesterday for Hermosa and Manhattan Beach were less than electric. Showings are up on active listings since January i’ve seen a steep increase.
